‘Minibeast Sensations’ is a sensory activity themed around some of our favourite Minibeasts: butterflies, moths, bees, slugs and spiders.

In this session, learners will explore the magical powers of butterflies, who can see UV light, listen to the sound of bees, smell their favourite flowers, and taste their honey. Learners will also meet slimy snails and explore the magic of spiders and much more.

A Minibeast Sensations PowerPoint/video complements this session; both are available to download from the Sensory Soup OneDrive or Dropbox. Alternatively, you can view the PowerPoint in video format via the Sensory Soup YouTube channel.

‘Minibeast Sensations’ is an activity inspired by Flo Longhorn’s Book ‘The Sensology Workout’ – ‘Waking Up the Senses’

Flo Longhorn recently made all of her books available for free download on the Internet. You can find these by clicking on the link below.
