‘Nursery Rhymes’ is an interactive communication through touch activity. It features some of the most well-known nursery rhymes, including ‘Round and Round the Garden, “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” “I Hear Thunder,” “The Grand Old Duke of York,” “There’s a Worm at the Bottom of the Garden,” and “Hickory Dickory Dock.”

The ‘Nursery Rhyme’ activity consists of two parts. The first part involves sharing the nursery rhymes with your learners as an interactive experience. You will navigate through each slide of the musical PowerPoint, incorporating touch actions and sensory inputs related to each rhyme.
The second part of the activity requires a separate PowerPoint presentation. In this presentation, learners can choose which nursery rhyme they want to listen to and experience with you and their class friends, using their preferred method of communication.

You can view or download the ‘Nursery Rhymes’ PowerPoint/Video via the Sensory Soup Dropbox, OneDrive or the Sensory Soup YouTube channel. The Nursery Rhymes Choosing activity is not available in video format and requires PowerPoint to play correctly.
