Rainforest Rhythms is a fun and engaging music and movement session for learners who use wheelchairs. It offers non-ambulant learners the opportunity to explore through creative and supported movement some of the amazing animals and insects that live in the Rainforest.
Together with their dance partners, learners will move to specially chosen music as they glide like a Macaw, slither and slide like a Snake, jump and stick like a Tree Frog, prowl and prance like a Jaguar, futter and float like a Butterfly and move slowly and stretch like a Sloth.
A “Rainforest Rhythms” video, featuring images and music, accompanies the music and movement session and can be viewed on the Sensory Soup YouTube channel or downloaded from the Sensory Soup OneDrive or Dropbox.
